The open trip in Komodo leaves on Monday & Friday, three days and two nights, with seats sold by the cabin from IDR 8,750,000 (≈ USD 537) per person. Raffles Cruise sails the 3D2N route with the local guide. Each seat is held for you by name once we confirm it.
Held for you: Monday and Friday starts
Held for you means a date, a cabin and a name. The open trip leaves on Monday & Friday, and from June to September 2027 some Thursdays are added. The calendar lists every one; this text does not.
Sold-out dates are not listed. Nor are dates on hold. A 2027 date stays provisional until a cabin is confirmed in writing, and availability changes daily, so the WhatsApp answer outranks the page.
Three days and two nights is the only open-trip length. The 2D1N and the 4D3N are lengths for the whole boat, chartered by one party and priced on the charter card.
Day one starts the same for every guest on the date: pickup at your hotel or the airport, a car to the harbour, then Sebayur. Arrive in Labuan Bajo one day before sailing. A night in town before the pickup is the simplest way to do it.
Open-trip departures are on Mondays and Fridays, and 2027 adds some Thursdays from June to September. Your exact date and your seat are confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay.

2027 dates are open to book now. The 2027 rate cards are published: the private charter card applies to sailings from 1 January 2027, with a higher tier from June to September and January and February on request, and the open-trip cabin prices follow the season. Sailings up to 31 December 2026 use the 2026 card.

Seat prices, cabin by cabin
A seat is priced per person, two sharing. On the 2026 card Java is IDR 8,750,000 (≈ USD 537) and Borneo IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552). Above them, Malacca II is IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675), with Malacca I at IDR 12,000,000 (≈ USD 736). The cabins page lists all four with the extra-bed fare, and the cabin for an extra bed is confirmed in writing before you pay.
The minimum is two paying guests per cabin. One person cannot take a cabin alone, and we promise no pairing and no single-guest fare. Ask us, and any arrangement comes back in writing before you pay.
Because two guests share each cabin, a couple in Malacca I pays the Malacca I figure twice, and two friends in Java pay the Java figure twice. Both get the local guide and the shared boat.
Summer 2027 and the Thursday starts
Seats for March to May and October to December 2027 start from the cabin prices in the table. Higher seat prices apply from June to September, each confirmed in writing before you pay. For the whole boat, June to September carries a higher 2027 card, quoted on WhatsApp with the printed figure.
Those are also the months of the Thursday starts, so a Thursday seat is a summer seat. Ask for the cabin and the date, and the answer gives the seat price for that date. January and February 2027 have no open-trip dates.
Then the rule. A seat price is final once we have confirmed it on WhatsApp and in writing. That holds for every 2027 date, and for any date that looks open on the calendar.
What a seat includes
A seat includes the pickup and drop-off in Labuan Bajo and an air-conditioned cabin with an ensuite bathroom. The bathroom has a hot shower. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served every day, with afternoon coffee or tea, a snack and soft drinks. Snorkelling gear, life jackets, two stand-up paddleboards, mini golf and the karaoke set are on board.
Your seat also carries the local guide plus photo and video documentation; we confirm both in writing ahead of payment. Park tickets are never in a seat. Flights, personal expenses, crew gratuities, hotel nights, alcohol and travel insurance are yours.
Day one is three snorkels: Sebayur, Manta Point, Taka Makassar. On the open trip the guide swims with the party. Manta Point is on the route, and whether mantas are there is the sea's decision.
From enquiry to a confirmed seat
Send us the date, the cabin and the head count. We reply with the seat price for that date and the cabin that is open. Say yes, and the seat is held.
A deposit of 50 per cent secures it. The balance falls 30 days before departure. Pickup is 09:30 as a planning figure; the exact hour comes with your seat.
Land in Labuan Bajo a day early. Pack a passport or ID, sandals or trekking shoes, a backpack, some emergency cash, sunblock and any personal medicines. If plans change after the deposit, tell us early: the table of dates and fees on the booking page sets what each window costs.

FAQ
How many guests are needed for an open trip to sail?
Two paying guests take each cabin. No minimum number of cabins is set for a date to sail, and we do not invent one. The date and your seat are confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay, and that confirmation is the answer.
Can I join as a solo traveller?
Each cabin goes to two paying guests, so a solo guest asks us first. We promise no pairing with another traveller and no single-guest fare. Whatever arrangement we can offer is confirmed in writing before you pay.
What time do we board on the first day?
At 09:30 a car collects you at your hotel or the airport and drives you to the harbour. That is the planning figure. The exact open-trip hour comes with your seat, so go by the hour in our message.
How far ahead should I book?
As soon as you know your week. Seats go by the cabin, and we tell you on WhatsApp which cabins are still free on your date. With the rest due 30 days ahead of sailing, a date closer than that needs a question to us before you plan around it.
Can I book Raffles Cruise for 2027 already?
Yes. 2027 open-trip dates are listed and a private charter can be reserved for any 2027 date. The 2027 card is published for March to May and October to December. June to September is higher, and we send you that figure on WhatsApp. January and February are on request. Sailings up to 31 December 2026 use the 2026 card.
