Sebayur: where the 3D2N starts and the 4D3N ends

Sebayur Kecil island snorkelling opens the 3D2N and closes the 4D3N. Raffles Cruise snorkels Sebayur late on the first morning of the 3-day trip, holds the beach dinner there on day three of the 4-day trip, and snorkels again on day four.
Sebayur on each sailing
Sebayur is not on the full day and not on the 2-day trip. It belongs to the two longer routes. On the 3-day trip it is the first stop: pickup at 09:30, the sail out, and the first snorkel late in the morning, followed by lunch, Manta Point and Taka Makassar.
On the 4-day trip it comes twice. Day three ends with dinner on the beach at Sebayur, after Manta Point, Taka Makassar, lunch, Mawan and a snack. Day four opens with breakfast and a Sebayur snorkel, then lunch and the harbour around midday.
The name is also spelled Sebayu. This site writes Sebayur, as the park data does.
Snorkelling the first morning
In the water, the first swim of a trip is the gentlest. The water is 2 to 10 m deep with a mild current, and the park data rates the stop easy and open to every level. Beaches and reefs sit side by side, so the stop serves both snorkelling and sand.
The planning range is 45 to 90 minutes. The crew fits the life jackets and the snorkelling gear from the boat's own equipment before anyone enters, and a guest who is not a confident swimmer stays in the shallows in a life jacket. The crew decides when and where you go in.
The sail out takes about 1.5 to 2 hours from Labuan Bajo as a planning range, so the first snorkel comes late in the morning, not at breakfast. Midday is the best window by the park data.

What it is not: not inside the dragon trekking area
The beach dinner, 4D3N only
Dinner on the beach belongs to the 4-day trip only. It is the dinner of day three, at Sebayur, and the beach is chosen by the captain from the weather that day. It names no menu, no table and no lighting, and this page invents none. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served every day on every trip, and the beach dinner is the one that moves ashore.
If a celebration depends on it, say so when you book. We confirm in writing what the crew can arrange before you pay, and the 3-day trip and the open trip have no beach dinner.
Footwear and water for Sebayur
Sandals suit the beach. Bring a hat, sunblock and water, and a dry bag for the phone. Reef runs close to the beach, and the walk down to the water is brief.
Dragon trekking happens elsewhere, so Sebayur needs no ranger. The stop is a swim, a beach and, on the 4-day trip, a dinner.
The park ticket is IDR 250,000 for a foreign visitor. An Indonesian citizen pays IDR 50,000 Monday to Friday and IDR 75,000 on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays. The fare leaves both out. We confirm what the park system requires at this stop when we register your names.

Is Sebayur on the full day?
No. Sebayur is on the 3-day trip, as the first snorkel, and on the 4-day trip, for the beach dinner and the last swim. The full day and the 2-day trip do not reach it.
