Raffles Cruise
For the two of you, without a honeymoon's ceremony
Updated 24 October 2026
A Komodo couples liveaboard snorkeling trip on Raffles Cruise costs IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552) per person in a Borneo cabin on the open trip, or IDR 57,500,000 (≈ USD 3,528) each for the whole boat on the 2026 card. Day one is three snorkels, and no diving is needed.
A deluxe cabin for two, priced seat by seat
Two guests take one cabin, and a cabin is a double bed. Each of the six has its own air-conditioned bathroom, and the shower runs hot. The bathroom photographs show marble-look wall tiles, a vessel basin and, in two pictures, a window over the water.
On the open trip a couple pays per person, two sharing. A Java cabin on the main deck is IDR 8,750,000 (≈ USD 537) each. A Borneo cabin on the upper deck is IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552) each. Neither has a balcony, and there is no other difference between the two.
Only Malacca I and Malacca II have a private balcony. Those are the cabins to ask for if the balcony matters, and the honeymoon page covers them. For a couple who want the water and the walks more than the terrace, Java is the lowest seat on the card.
We assign the cabin when we confirm the seat on WhatsApp, and the confirmation names it before you pay.
All six cabins, with photographs, are on the cabins page.
Snorkelling together on the first day
A car picks you up at 09:30, either at your hotel or at the airport. Day one then runs as three snorkels in a row: Sebayur, Manta Point and Taka Makassar, with lunch between the first two and a snack between the last two. Dinner is on board.
In the water, a couple goes in side by side. The crew fits each of you with a life jacket and snorkelling gear. Anyone who is not a confident swimmer keeps the life jacket on over the shallow reef at Sebayur. The crew decides when and where you go in, and calls the time you spend there.
Manta Point is on the route; whether mantas are there is the sea's decision, and the crew and guide choose the time to go in. The current at that stop is strong. If one of you prefers to stay aboard, the other goes in with the party on an open trip, or on a charter with a guide you ask for, and the two stand-up paddleboards stay on the boat for the one who waits.
Taka Makassar closes the day with a sandbar that shows at low tide and shallow reef around it. A seat on the open trip includes the local guide, confirmed in writing before you pay.
Two days of walks and a sunset
Day two begins with the Padar walk at sunrise, before breakfast. In July the sun rises at 06:18, and reaching the main viewpoint costs 25 to 45 minutes of climbing. Nothing makes it compulsory, so tell the crew the evening before if one of you would rather sleep.
Breakfast follows, then Pink Beach, where the route reads snorkelling or paddle boarding at Long Beach. A couple can take one board each or share a snorkel. Lunch follows. After it come the Komodo walk with a ranger, a stroll on Pimpe Island and a snack.
At dusk the boat is at Kalong. Fifteen minutes after sunset the flying foxes take wing, and July's sunset is 17:57. You watch from the deck with dinner to come.
Day three is slower. After breakfast comes Kelor, with free time to walk, swim or paddle board, then lunch, and the harbour around midday. Book a flight after 14:00.

Two open-trip seats, or the boat held for you
Sums first. Two seats in a Borneo cabin are 2 x IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552) on the open trip. The whole boat for two on the 3-day route is IDR 115,000,000 (≈ USD 7,055) on the 2026 card, which is IDR 57,500,000 (≈ USD 3,528) each. The boat costs more, and it is yours alone.
Held for you: on the open trip we hold a seat once we have confirmed the date on WhatsApp. Sailings leave on Monday & Friday, and the next with a free cabin is Monday, 23 November 2026. The seat price is confirmed in writing before you pay.
For the whole boat, the 2027 card is IDR 125,000,000 (≈ USD 7,669) for 3 days, March to May and October to December. For a sailing between June and September 2027 the higher card applies, and we send you the figure on WhatsApp.
On a private charter, documentation in photos and video and the local guide are priced apart from the fare. Both are quoted separately on request.
What a couple should know before booking
The open trip shares the boat. The lounge, the outdoor relax area and the dining areas are shared with the other cabins, and the cabin door is yours alone. If you want the whole boat, the charter is the answer, and it starts with IDR 115,000,000 (≈ USD 7,055) for two.
A Borneo or Java cabin has no balcony. The boat has local Wi-Fi on board (the connection depends on mobile coverage and is not promised), a karaoke set and mini golf, and none of it is a reason to choose a cabin.
Park tickets are bought per visitor and are never in a fare: IDR 250,000 for a foreign visitor. Flights, the hotel in Labuan Bajo, crew gratuities and travel insurance are outside too. Alcohol is not included and is yours to bring.
Each night's anchorage is the captain's decision, made that day from the weather. Read the cabins and the 3-day route next, or return to all the occasions.

Which cabin suits a couple watching the budget?
Java, on the main deck, at IDR 8,750,000 (≈ USD 537) per person with two sharing. Borneo on the upper deck costs IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552) each.
