Komodo liveaboard 2027 rate card: what changes between spring and summer
Updated 24 October 2026
The 2027 card for Raffles Cruise prices the private charter in two tiers, with a higher tier from June to September. A three-day charter in the low months is IDR 125,000,000 (≈ USD 7,669) for up to 12 guests. The 2027 price list sets open-trip seat prices by cabin and month, and the seat price for your date is confirmed in writing before you pay. Park tickets are extra.
The 2027 card: one charter price for twelve guests
Raffles Cruise has published its 2027 rates for sailings from 1 January 2027. The private charter is priced in two tiers: a low tier for March to May and October to December, and a higher tier for June to September.
Two cards are on the table at the moment. The 2026 card covers sailings up to 31 December 2026. For a three-day, two-night charter it reads IDR 115,000,000 (≈ USD 7,055) for 1 to 4 guests, and IDR 125,000,000 (≈ USD 7,669) for 10 to 12. The 2027 card covers sailings from 1 January 2027 and carries one price for the whole 12-guest base. For the same three days, in the low months, it reads IDR 125,000,000 (≈ USD 7,669).
That change helps a large party and costs a small one. A party of 1 to 4 on the three-day route pays IDR 115,000,000 (≈ USD 7,055) on the 2026 card. On the 2027 low-season card it pays the higher IDR 125,000,000 (≈ USD 7,669), so compare the cards before you assume next year costs the same. Extra beds for guests 13 and 14 stay at IDR 5,500,000 (≈ USD 337) per guest on the three-day trip, on both cards, and the boat never carries more than 14 guests.
January and February 2027 are quoted on request, and no open-trip departures are listed for them yet.
Open-trip seats: Thursdays, cabins and the price in writing
An open trip sells one cabin at a time on a shared three-day sailing, with starts on Monday & Friday. Between June and September 2027 some Thursday starts are added: 10 and 24 June, 15 July, 19 and 26 August, and 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 September.
Seats are priced by cabin, per person, two sharing. Malacca I is the dearest seat, then Malacca II, then Borneo, then Java. On the 2026 card that is IDR 12,000,000 (≈ USD 736) for Malacca I and IDR 11,000,000 (≈ USD 675) for Malacca II, with Borneo at IDR 9,000,000 (≈ USD 552) and Java at IDR 8,750,000 (≈ USD 537).
The 2027 price list sets seat prices by cabin and by month. No 2027 seat figure appears here. The seat price for your date reaches you in writing ahead of payment, and that written figure is the one you book on.
Charter: two tiers and a flat day
The private charter is simpler. The 2027 card has a low tier for March to May and October to December, and a higher tier for June to September. Nothing in between, and nothing special for August.
In the low months the card reads IDR 100,000,000 (≈ USD 6,135) for two days and one night. Three days and two nights is IDR 125,000,000 (≈ USD 7,669). Four days and three nights is IDR 155,000,000 (≈ USD 9,509). The full day is IDR 60,000,000 (≈ USD 3,681) all year, so it does not rise in summer. The other three lengths do rise from June to September.
For a sailing between June and September 2027 the higher card applies, and we send you the printed figure on WhatsApp. You will not find that figure on this page. Asking costs nothing, and the answer comes in writing.
A charter fare covers the boat, the crew of 8, meals, snorkelling gear, life jackets and two stand-up paddleboards. Park tickets, ranger fees, flights, tips and alcohol sit outside it. For a guide or photo and video documentation, ask and we quote them apart. The open trip includes a guide.
Park fees and the 2026 visitor cap
Park tickets are paid per visitor and sit outside every fare above. They follow Government Regulation 36 of 2024 on non-tax state revenue. ANTARA Kupang reported on 26 October 2024 that the new rates apply from 30 October 2024, and they still stand. An international visitor pays IDR 250,000. For an Indonesian visitor the ticket is IDR 50,000 on weekdays, rising to IDR 75,000 on holidays. Levies for rangers and piers come on top, and the amounts move.
No fee increase has been announced for 2027 in anything we could find. A forestry ministry report dated 6 August 2026 says Komodo has become a public service agency, which lets the park keep its own revenue. It gives no ticket price and announces no change.
The rule that did change is the daily limit. ANTARA reported on 14 April 2026 that the park agency capped entry at 1,000 visits a day from 1 April 2026. On 29 September 2026 CNN Indonesia reported that the 2026 yearly quota had run out in August, and that a lower figure of 500 a day applies from September to December 2026. A ministry statement of 25 April 2026 calls the yearly limit dynamic and open to periodic review, so the 2027 figure is not settled.
Tickets are bought online for a named date. We handle that for guests on our bookings. What you give us is the passport detail, and what we need back from you is a firm arrival date.
What this means for your dates
Start with the month. A sailing in March, April, May, October, November or December 2027 sits on the low card for the charter. For an open-trip seat, the price for your date is confirmed in writing before you pay.
June to September sits on the higher charter tier, and seat prices rise in summer. A Thursday start is possible in summer, so a party that cannot leave on a Monday or a Friday has more choice than in the rest of the year.
If your party is 10 to 12, the 2027 single price matters most. If it is 1 to 4, check the 2026 band before December, since a sailing up to 31 December 2026 still uses it. Held for you: nothing is held until you confirm a date with us on WhatsApp.
Whatever the month, plan for park fees as a separate line, for a ticket date that matches your sailing date, and for a daily limit that can move. The deposit is 50 per cent. Pay the balance 30 days before you sail.
The steward's answer: ask for the seat price, or the charter figure, for your exact dates, and pay only when you hold it in writing.
