Raffles Cruise
A team of twelve on one boat for three days
Updated 24 October 2026
A Komodo company trip liveaboard for 12 staff takes the whole of Raffles Cruise for 3 days at IDR 125,000,000 (≈ USD 7,669) on the 2026 card, or IDR 10,420,000 (≈ USD 639) per head. Six double cabins, snorkelling for non-divers and local Wi-Fi are on board.
Six cabins, twelve colleagues
Pickup is at 09:30. The harbour is a short drive. Cabins are allocated before lunch. The crew of 8 takes the party from there.
Twelve colleagues take six double cabins, two to a cabin, each air-conditioned, with an en-suite bathroom. We assign the cabins from the list of who shares with whom, which you send before the balance falls due.
Only two cabins have a private balcony, Malacca I and Malacca II. A company decides who takes them, and we do not. Borneo and Java have none.
The facility list ends with a lounge area with a karaoke set and mini golf. The boat also has an indoor relax area and bar with a TV, and indoor and outdoor dining areas.
| Cabin | Rooms | Beds | Sleeps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Malacca I | 1 | Double bed | 2 |
| Malacca II | 1 | Double bed | 2 |
| Borneo | 2 | Double bed | 4 |
| Java | 2 | Double bed | 4 |
| Berths in total | 6 | 12 |
What a company needs us to confirm
Four items go in writing before you pay: the head count, who sleeps in which cabin, the invoice and the dates. Invoicing arrangements are confirmed in writing, and the invoice carries the booking's company details if you give them.
The booking takes a deposit of 50 per cent, then the balance 30 days before sailing. That is the two-part payment a finance team asks about. VAT of 11 per cent is included.
Should the boat be unable to sail, you are offered a different boat, of the same class or better, for those dates with nothing extra to pay, or the whole fare returned inside 14 days. The cancellation table sets out the refund at 60 days and 30 days.
Ask us for anything else a procurement form wants. We reply in writing.
Three days that suit a team
Day one is three snorkels, the easiest way for colleagues who barely know one another to share a first morning. Sebayur, lunch, Manta Point, a snack, Taka Makassar, dinner on board.
In the water, the crew fits every colleague with a life jacket and snorkelling gear. Anyone who is not a confident swimmer keeps the jacket on, and the crew decides when and where each group goes in. Nobody on the team needs a diving certificate.
Day two starts with the Padar walk at sunrise, before breakfast, then Pink Beach, the Komodo walk, Pimpe, a snack and the Kalong sunset with dinner on board. Day three is Kelor with free time, lunch and the harbour around midday.
Book flights home after 14:00. The captain picks each night's anchorage that same day.

Facilities a company looks for and does not find
There is no meeting room and no projector aboard, so ask us if a session matters. The indoor lounge holds a TV and a karaoke set, and neither was made for presentations.
There is local Wi-Fi on board; the connection depends on mobile coverage and is not promised. Plan for the team to be offline for most of the three days.
Charging points are on request, confirmed in writing before you pay. Ask us. Shade on the outdoor relax area is on request, confirmed in writing before you pay.
Alcohol is not sold on board and is yours to bring. A company policy on that is for the company.
